My name is Annael Shavit, currently a 4th year student at the Beaux-Arts de Paris in the atelier of Nina Childress.
In my work, I focus on capturing dogs through the mediums of painting and drawing. The choice of dogs stems from my desire to create a form of positive art, infused with humour, laughter, vividness, and uncovering the dogs human tendencies and expressions. Dogs provide me trust, warmth, a sense of belonging, and humour.
In a repetitive manner, I return to the studio every day to create more and more of them, surrounding myself with my dogs in my little heaven.
